Here is a listing of a few of the area's organizations:

AAUW (American Association of University Women), For women with two- and four-year college degrees. Most meetings at 7 p.m. on first Monday of the month at Providence Forum in McLaughlin Field House, University of Great Falls. For more information, call Barbara Chigbrow at 761-8228.

Altered Classics (Family Car Club), meets second Tuesday of each month at Eagles. Open to owners of any classic makes, models or vehicles of special interest. Vehicle need not be in pristine condition. Both scheduled and informal events. For more information call Jim Terry at 454-1155. Web site.

Artist’s Way, meets at the Education Center of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation either Mondays at 7 p.m. or Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for two hours. Tim Ljunggren and Jill Martinez are facilitators. New classes begin in January and September. For more information call Ljunggren at 231-6010.

Audubon Society, Upper Missouri Breaks Audubon Chapter, meets from September to June at 7 p.m. on second Monday of the month at the Region Headquarters for Fish Wildlife & Parks, 4600 Giant Springs Road.     Sun River Skeet Club, open for shooting on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Payment of dues allows member to shoot on black powder, pistol, and rifle ranges as well as to shoot skeet.
